It’s easy to take the good things in life for granted.  When you make time to count your blessings, I becomes clear just how much you have to be thankful for.

Block some time every day to make appreciation a daily habit.  Send a short handwritten thank-you card to a different person each day.  It could be a friend, family member, co-worker, vendor, client or mentor.  Specifically mention what you appreciate about them.

Think about your past.  Who helped you to get where you are today?  Maybe it was a friend, or a teacher way back in Elementary School.  Facebook is a great way to reconnect with people from your past, or search on Google for them.  Then, send a note to thank them for the difference they made in your life.

Others to be thankful for could be your parents.  What positive character traits and habits did you learn from them?  Hard work?  Kindness? Love for the arts?  Send a card to tell mom or dad how much you appreciate them.  I bet it will be the highlight of their whole year!

Send Out Cards makes it easy for you to send these hand-written cards of gratitude directly from your computer.  Just pick your card, type in your heart-felt message, add pictures if you’d like; and then Send Out Cards will print the card, in your handwriting, put it in an envelope, add a stamp and send it in the mail to your recipient.  Try it here today!

When you make it a daily habit to be grateful, you’d be amazed of things that will begin to happen.  Your expression of thanks could be a serendipitous gift arriving just when someone needs a boost.   You will become aware of the good things in your everyday life that you’ve previously taken for granted.  You will come to realize that you have a life that is already richer than you could’ve imagined, and by being in a state of gratitude, you will attract more of the same.  In fact, you might be really surprised at what comes back to you!
